Here you will find information on the Peace Support Operations (PSO) courses, a cooperative effort between the Nordic training centres FINCENT, NODEFIC, SWEDINT and Denmark.
PSO courses have been ongoing and well established since the 1990s. The allocation of responsibilities and role specialisation has been agreed between the nations and is continuously reviewed.
The NORDEFCO Peace Support Operations Education and Training programme is a strong example of effective Nordic cooperation. By dividing responsibility for different types of courses and sharing national instructors, the participating nations have achieved an internationally high standard that would not have been possible individually.
The overall purpose of NORDEFCO is to strengthen the participating nations’ national defence, identify common synergies, and facilitate efficient joint solutions.
